
Quick Draw Competition
QUICK DRAW ART COMPETITION RULES

Quick Draw will be held on the October Festival Grounds, a 7 block area along Jackson St. between and including the Community Center and the Burnet Historical Square.

Artists must have their blank canvas stamped (16”x20” or 320 sq. in. maximum size) by the Burnet Art Festival staff at one of the registration times.

Artists are responsible for immediately transporting the unframed artwork to the Octoberfest Music Stage for a short recognition/art sale advertisement and then will transport them to the Community Center for check-in.

Check-in: Two bid sheets, a price tag, and an art label (taped to the back) will be completed at check-in so be prepared to title & price your artwork. You are not required to bring easels for these. Remember, 30% of the sale will go to BAM (Burnet Association of Merchants) so price accordingly.

The artist must provide his/her social security number or federal EIN for sales totaling over $600.00.

The proceeds that are due the artists will be mailed to the artist within 10 days of the sale.

BAM (Burnet Association of Merchants) or the City of Burnet does not provide any insurance and is not liable for any damages to artwork. Entry shall imply this agreement on the part of the artist. Artists should provide their own insurance.
If you are only competing in the Quick Draw Competition, please provide $20 payment through Pay Pal below or submit a check made payable to Burnet Merchants Association (BAM) to Burnet Art Festival c/o Hamilton Valley Management, P.O. Box 190, Burnet, Texas 78611.
Please note that if you registered and paid for the Plein Air Competition you do not have to pay for the Quick Draw Competition. You only need to register.
